3. Erstmals 2007 in Kanada gesehen: Auf dem Videoschirm ist die Position der Pferde in Form kleiner Quadrate (in den Farben der jeweiligen Satteldecke) dargestellt. Verändert ein Pferd seine Platzierung im Feld, so ändert auch das Quadrat seine Position entsprechend. Ein phantastischer Service für den Zuschauer, der das von ihm gewettete Pferd stets im Blick hat, auch wenn es vom Sprecher nicht erwähnt wird oder man diesen (z.B. als Ausländer) nicht versteht. Der Rennkommentator ist deshalb nicht überflüssig.
4. Die Positionsanzeige (siehe vorheriges Bild) funktioniert mit einem elektronischen Bauteil unter der Satteldecke, das Gegenstück befindet sich auf dem Dach der Tribüne. Im Prinzip funktioniert das wie ein Navigationssystem im Auto, die Position ist auf einen halben Meter genau bestimmbar

3. First time seen in Canada: On the video screen the position of the horses is shown in the form of little quadrats (in the color of the particular saddle cloth). If a horse changes it's position in the field, the quadrat would move, too. A fantastic service for the observer, who can always keep an eye on the horse he betted on, even if the announcer doesn't mention it or one cannot understand him (for one is a foreigner, per example). Nevertheless, the commentator isn't superfluous.
4. The position display (previous photo) works with an electronic transmitter under the saddle cloth. The receiver is located on the rooftop of the grand stands. It is working like a GPS and can tell the position accurate to half a meter.

6. They saddle boxes are in the ground floor of the grand stands.

9. The race track is located in the air corridor, not farther from the airport then 5 min by car.
