Fotoapparate und Mobiltelefone sind hier verboten, es erfolgen Sicherheitskontrollen wie auf dem Flughafen. Nach zähen Verhandlungen mit dem Sicherheitschef wurden Fotos gestattet, aber nur von der Tribüne aus. Buchmacherstände, Führring, Siegerehrung – alles streng verboten, bei Zuwiderhandlungen wurde Beschlagnahme der Kamera angedroht. Angeblich wollen Besitzer und Wetter nicht fotografiert werden. Wir haben schon ungefähr 400 Rennbahnen in allen Teilen der Welt besucht, aber das ist uns noch nicht widerfahren.

Unglücklicherweise herrschte am Renntag ziemlicher Smog, so dass die Pferde erst 400 Meter vor dem Ziel erkennbar waren.

Cameras and mobile phones are not permitted, there are security checks like at the airport. Taking photos was only permitted after tough negotiation with the head of security, but only from the grandstands. Bookmakers' stands, parade ring, prize giving ceremony are strictly prohibited. With offence the seizure of the camera is threatened. It is understood, that owners and gamblers don't want to be papped. We already visited about 400 race tracks all over the world - but such thing never ever happened to us anywhere!

Unfortunately, there was heavy smog at the race day , so that the horses came in view about only 400m before the finish line.
